Visit the Indiana Education Forum at http://www.indianaeducationforum.com/ hosted by Senator Kruse of Indiana who has been named Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education and Career Development and the Chair of the Interim Study Committee on Education.

The Indiana Education Roundtable 9/2/09 - Florida Governor Jeb Bush presents, "Florida: Before and After Accountability & School Choice." Supporting virtual schools as an important option for public school choice and improvement. See power point presentation here.

National Update:

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and civil rights leader Al Sharpton will join United Stated Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan September 29 in Philadelphia to begin their four-city tour to highlight the Obama Administration's efforts to reform public education, spur innovation and discuss challenges facing America's school systems. The tour is scheduled to include school visits, stakeholder meetings, and media briefings, all to stimulate discussion and community engagement around issues of education reform.
